It will be another historic night in the Queen City, as Charlotte FC host and play against European giant Chelsea FC. The Blues are touring the USA as part of their preseason preparations for the approaching Premier League season.

It will be a rare opportunity for the team to test themselves against some of the biggest stars in the world. But most importantly, it will be an unforgettable experience for fans who get to see their local team clash against an established side.


Players to Watch

One of the biggest soccer clubs in the world, Chelsea FC, is stopping in Charlotte for an exhibition match for their USA Tour. It will be an opportunity for Charlotte players to go head-to-head against some of the premier world talents and have fun while doing so.


The visitors won 1-2 against America. The goal had to wait until the 55th minute. The first half ended in a goalless draw, although there were some dangerous approaches, neither team managed to score. The first goal went to the "Blues" thanks to Werner's goal. Tuchel's side would see the home side equalize after James' own goal. Mount was the player who scored the final goal of the match for Chelsea to win 1-2.


The U.S. team suffered a great comeback at the DRV PNK Stadium after facing Inter Miami. The result was 3-2. Charlotte player Reyna's performance was spectacular as he scored in the first minute to put his team ahead. In the 43rd minute, he would score his second goal of the game and his second goal of the match. The game would go into halftime with the score 0-2. In the last 45 minutes Inter Miami would turn the game around starting with Taylor's goal. Higuaín would put the equalizer on the scoreboard only for Rodríguez to score the winning goal in the 93rd minute.
